The robotics unit is a summer tradition at GBS. Each year, our oldest students build robots using LEGO's NXT kits and program them using a visual interface on a laptop. This software is made for kids and breaks programming down in a simple, visual fashion that helps kids succeed in getting the robots to do what they want them to do. The robots can move, make noises, display images, light up, and much more. The students will be showcasing their work at the Art & Robots Show at the Marriott next door on Friday, Aug. 7.
